Collision Consultants of North America is building the Mobile Collision Forensics Van: a fully equipped inspection and training unit that goes into collision shops to document damage, scan, measure, repair and train technicians to repair to OEM procedures. Van #1 has been purchased and is being upfitted now. Every shop visit is a live demonstration on a real vehicle, followed by the training that turns a technician who has seen it done into a shop that does it right every time.

Technician and estimator training on the shop's own repairs
Where the Vans Are Going
Two founding vans — Michigan first, Florida to follow — will serve the shops around their base and travel to other states. The planned founding tour runs south on I-75 from Michigan through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia to Florida, then north along the East Coast on I-95, with east–west trips to follow. As each region builds, a territory van is placed there to visit its shops continuously.
For equipment manufacturers and OEMs
Our target is 4–5 shops a day, five days a week — roughly 1,000 to 1,250 shop visits a year from each van, on the shop's own repairs. A trade show brings the industry to your booth for a few days; the van brings your products to the shop floor the rest of the year. Founding Technology Partners are being finalized now.
